The Corte Bella Men's Golf Association (MGA) is open to all men with a Full Golf membership at the Corte Bella Golf Club.  The MGA facilitates weekly golf tournaments and several "major" golf tournaments each year.  The purpose of the MGA is to promote friendly competition among members.

  • 2018 Ryder Cup
    The Ryder Cup is one of the most popular tournaments of the year.
    This year the Blue team bested the Red team 62.5 to 47.5.
    Congratulations to the winners.  This photo will be mounted in the Men's locker room until next year.

  • Summer Member/Member
    Our Summer Member/Member is the last tournament of the 2017-2018 season.
    The participants are some of the hardiest members at Corte Bella who thrive on the Sun City West summer weather.

    The winners this year are as follows:

    Flight 3: Michael Mollman and Tom Stephenson

  • 2019 Rule Changes
    Effective January 1, 2019 the USGA and R&A have approved changes to the rules of golf.
    Some of the more significant changes are:
    • Dropping a ball can be performed from the knee rather than the shoulder
    • Searching for a lost ball cannot be longer than 3 minutes
    • New procedure for taking a lateral relief
    • Placing a marked ball on the green when affected by wind etc.
    • No penalty when putt hits an unattended flag stick
    • No penalty for touching line of play
    • No penalty for grounding a club in penalty area (exceptions apply)
    • Distance measuring devices are allowed
    • No penalty for accidentally striking a ball twice
    • Encouraging “ready golf”

  • 2018 Sonoran Shootout
    The annual member/guest four day event was held April 18-21.
    60 teams participated.
